Berlin – Cornwall 2015

In describing my small beginnings in a ‘downsized – restart’ to Anna Sykora; she fell upon the idea to collaborate in a shared project to study the ‘teacup’ using porcelain, with two shows in Berlin and two in Cornwall. This covered many happy ideas, not least to properly connect with Anna again who has spent 3 summers in Cornwall potting and exploring including time in my last big studio at Penhalvean. We aim to have fun exploring shapes and styles and take a close look at how people drink tea these days. The fundamental look for functional potters who have through out history deliverd pots for specific uses.
